Deborah K. (Kinsey) Rosa

1949 - 2008

Deborah K. (Kinsey) Rosa, 59, died Sunday at Leominster Hospital surrounded by her loving family, after being stricken ill at home.

She was born in Leominster on July 21, 1949, the daughter of Joseph and Genevieve Kinsey. She leaves her loving husband of 40 years, Dennis Rosa; a son, Scott and his wife Dawn (McGillivary) Rosa of Attleboro; and a daughter, Amy and her husband Paul Roux of Clinton; a sister Lisa LaPrade and her husband Mark of Leominster; four grandchildren and one grandchild on the way, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, mother and a brother.

She was the Chief Financial Officer for American Auto Body Repair Inc., and was Co-Owner of DJ's Discount Auto Body Supplies and Accessories. She loved politics and helped run her husband's political campaigns for over 20 years, and also assisted the candidates she supported for offices: locally, county, state, and nationally. She always said that Politics was her "Favorite Sport." She enjoyed cooking and recently was active in a "Save St. Mary's Campaign" for St. Mary's Catholic Elementary School in Clinton and donated to that campaign. She loved fast cars and racing, and owned a collection of Mustangs with her husband Dennis. She always enjoyed racing at the Las Vegas Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Locally she supported many organizations and in particular was a big supporter for The Beacon Of Hope, and was a member of St. Leo's Parish and she was a notary public.

Her greatest joys in life came from her family. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and especially grandmother.

The Funeral will be held on Thursday from The Curley-Marchand Funeral Home, 89 West St., Leominster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Leo's Church, 108 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster.

Calling Hours at the Funeral Home will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.

Charles Conefrey, Jr.

Chuck

1949  -  2008

 

Charles Martin Conefrey, Jr., 59, of Tallahassee, Florida had lived in Leominster and was a Hudson teacher. Chuck died on June 3, 2008, unexpectedly in Tallahassee. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Erin N. Conefrey of Lynn, Massachusetts; his son, Charles M. Conefrey, III of San Diego, California; three sisters, Frances R. Moniz,  Shirley A. Hudson, and Mariann Rosa of Leominster; several nieces, grandnieces, and one grandnephew. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert H. Conefrey who passed away on March 3, 2008.

Mr. Conefrey was born on February 3, 1949 in Leominster, son of Charles M. and Gretchen (Holbrook) Conefrey, Sr. He graduated from Fitchburg State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He then received a Masters Degree in education and a Masters Degree in Administration. Chuck served as an educator and later as an administrator in the Hudson Public School System. In 2000, he was semi-retired and moved to Florida with his beloved dog Callie. He later became a regional sales manager for Sears and Roebuck Co. until his death.

Harold H. Lowe

 

1949  - 2007

Harold, 58, of 959 Lancaster St. in Leominster died on Friday Sept. 7, 2007, in U Mass Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

He was born on April 6, 1949. in Fitchburg, son of Harold T. and Barbara ( Hoellrich) Lowe Jr. He attended Fitchburg State College, before going into the United States Army.

Mr. Lowe and his father were partners in Mastercraft Boat Co. - Truck Cap of Leominster.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jean F. (Snow) Lowe of Leominster; his mother, Barbara (Hoellrich) Lowe of Leominster; his son, Nicholas H. Lowe of Leominster; sisters, Linda H. Dailey and Susan P. Downing both of Leominster; 10 nieces and nephews and two great-nephews.

Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery in Lancaster.

Dennis L. Brooks

“Booney”

1949  -  2003

Dennis died in Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Boston, after an illness. He was born in Leominster, the son of Lloyd F. and Rosilda (Fluet) Brooks. He lived in Leominster and served in the Army in Viet Nam. He was buried in St. Cecelia's Cemetery.

Reed M. Pelletier

1949  -  2006

Reed died in UMass Memorial Health Care-Clinton Hospital after becoming ill at work. He was born in Leominster, the son of Raymond R. and Lena A. (Scarale) Pelletier. He attended the former Worcester Junior College. He was buried in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster.
