G. Barbaro1945 - 2008
Anthony G. Barbaro Jr., 62, of 26 Harrison St.,
Leominster, died on Thursday, Jan. 24, in the UMass Memorial Medical
Center University Campus in Worcester after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Barbaro was born in Fitchburg on Oct. 1, 1945,
son of Anthony G. and Rose (Carbonneau) Barbaro, and had lived in
Leominster for most of his life. Tony worked for 25 years at the former
Webber Lumber in Leominster, and then for the past few years at Maki
Lumber in Gardner. He was a member of St. Leo’s Church in Leominster and
the Leominster Sportsman’s Club.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Doreen M.
(Brassard) Barbaro; two sons, Anthony G. Barbaro III and Scott M.
Barbaro, both of Leominster; two daughters, Carrie L. Juma and Autumn L.
Barbaro, both of Leominster; four sisters, Rita Siciliano and Kitty
Gaudet, both of Leominster, Joanne Melzark of Washington and Nina
Slongwhite of Michigan; six grandchildren, Matthew A. Barbaro, Anthony
G. Barbaro IV, Amanda C. Barbaro, Grace M. Juma, Christopher J. Daniels
and Jacob A. Juma, all of Leominster. He is also survived by foster
children, including Melanie Schroeder, Patsy Barter, Tylet Wells and
Heather Sefton.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 28,
from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St.,
Leominster, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St.,
Leominster. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Jan. 27, from 4-7 p.m. in the
funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
the Levin Cancer Center, 33 Kendall St., Worcester, MA 01605.

Norman P. Beaudet
1947 - 2006
Norman P. Beaudet, 59, of 20 Hayes St. in
Leominster, died Sunday, Dec. 24, in his home after being stricken ill.
He was born on March 2, 1947, in Leominster, the son
of Roland and Lucile M. (Downing) Beaudet. He was a graduate of Leominster
High School Class of 1965. Mr. Beaudet was a U.S. Army Veteran of the
Vietnam Era, having attained the rank of sergeant. Mr. Beaudet earned the
Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, one-year Safe Driver
Badge with bar, Sharpshooter (Pistol) Medal and Expert (Rifle) Medal. Mr.
Beaudet was an information tech manager for Ellora Software in Fort Devens.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Marijane
(MacDonald ) Beaudet of Leominster; his mother, Lucile M. (Downing)
Beaudet of Fitchburg; one son, Keith P. Beaudet, of Leominster; two
daughters, Rachel Beaudet of Leominster and Melissa Beaudet; three
sisters, Patricia Merchant, Betty Beaudet, and Barbara Holden, all of
Fitchburg. He was predeceased by his father, Roland Beaudet, in 1983.
