Bruce R. Hietala
1936 - 2006
Bruce R. Hietala, 69, of Rindge, N.H., died
Tuesday, April 11, in HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster, after a long
illness.
He was born in Fitchburg on Aug. 5, 1936, the
son of the late Toivo E. and Pearl G. (Bateman) Hietala and lived in
Ashby before moving to Rindge 20 years ago. Following graduation he enlisted in the U.S.
Army.
For many years, Mr. Hietala owned and operated
Hietala Logging Co. of Ashby, retiring in 1990.
Mr. Hietala is survived by his beloved wife of
42 years, Ronalee L. (Lashua) Hietala; two sons, Bruce R. Hietala, Jr.
of Winchendon and Craig E. Hietala of Fitzwilliam; four grandchildren,
nephews and nieces. His brother, Dennis Hietala of Townsend,
predeceased him.

Janet Ann (Carr) Amadio, 69, of 300
Atlantic Ave., formerly of 20 Crown St., died Sunday, Dec. 25, in Indian
River Memorial Hospital, Vero Beach, Fla.
She was born in Leominster on Aug. 6,
1936, the daughter of Raymond and Natalie (Lawrence) Carr. She was also a
graduate of the former Wards
Business School in Worcester.
Mrs. Amadio was one of the earliest
IBM operators in the area and was one of the youngest ever driver
education instructors. During her working career she worked in the
accounting department of the Fitchburg Paper Co. in Fitchburg, Carr Bros.
Inc. in Leominster, Great American Chemical Co. in Fitchburg and P.J.
Keating Co. in Lunenburg.
Mrs. Amadio is survived by her
husband, Dr. Louis R. Amadio, former Superintendent of Leominster Public
Schools; two sons, Paul R. Amadio and his wife Donita and their children
Colton, Natalie, and Gaelen, of Greenfield and Mark F. Amadio and his wife
Linda and their children Cameron, Cassandra and Cole of Sturbridge; a
daughter. Ellen M. Amadio-Aubuchon and her husband Daniel and their son
Adam of Leominster.

Rose passed away
February 1, 2007, at 69 in Pasadena, Texas.
She was born on
April 1, 1937, in Leominster, where she lived for some time after
graduation. She later moved to Houston, Texas,
then Pasadena.
Mrs. Reedy is
survived by her husband, Gil Reedy and two sons, Michael Reedy and Don
Reedy; and one daughter, Sheila Briggs, all of Texas.
Funeral services
were held in Texas with interment in Webster, Texas.
