Joseph "Ernie" Hachey

1929 - 2008

"Ernie" Hachey, 79, of Leominster, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 in the Leominster Hospital. He was born in Fitchburg, on October 3, 1929, the son of the late Marcel and the late Alma (Bernard) Hachey. Mr. Hachey attended Leominster High School, graduating with the Class of 1949. He served during Korean War in the Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He was a truck driver for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, later becoming a time keeper in the office. He worked for the Commonwealth for 22 years retiring in 1992. He was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church. He loved is 1965 Corvette. He leaves one sister, Eva Jerszyk of Hubbardston; one brother, Henry Hachey of Fitchburg; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Eric Hachey, and his sister, Alice Nadeau, both of Fitchburg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 11:00 am in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will private. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 9 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. in the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. Arlene M. Scorzelli of Leominster; 74 Leominster Arlene M. (Serafino) Scorzelli, 74 years old, of Leominster died unexpectedly October 19, 2008 in her home. Mrs. Scorzelli was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 1, 1934, daughter of Charles and Anne (Reppili) Serafino and had lived in Leominster most of her life. She graduated from Leominster High School in 1949 and had a very successful career as an executive secretary and business woman. She was a member of St. Anna's Church in Leominster. Arlene loved taking care of her flower garden, shopping and spending time with her sister. She was happiest when she was gardening or when she was with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She is survived by her daughter Diane Flanagan of Leominster, her son Pat Scorzelli of Leominster, her sister Joanna Marcoux of Leominster, three grandchildren, State Representative Jennifer L. Flanagan of Leominster, Erin L. Rivera of Leominster and Timothy J. Flanagan of Lincoln, RI, her great-granddaughter Isabella M. Rivera of Leominster, her former husband Pasquale L. Scorzelli of Leominster, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Jacqueline B. Richard in 1987. SCORZELLI The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St, Leominster, with a Mass at 10 am in St. Anna's Church, 194 Lancaster St, Leominster. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 21, 2008 from 5-8 pm in the funeral home. March 14, 1930 - June 15, 2007

Richard F. Bourque Sr., 77 of 42 DuPont Circle in Leominster died Friday June 15, 2007 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 14, 1930 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts was the son of Ferdinand and Lillian ( Richard ) Bourque. He served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Wisconsin, was a veteran of the Korean War, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Medal, Korean Service Medal with 1 star, and the Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Bourque was the original founder with his brothers of Bourque Bros. Carpet in Leominster. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, Franco American War Veterans, Knights of Columbus Council 406 in Leominster and U.S.S. Wisconsin Reunion.

He was a Beloved father to 2 sons Richard F. Bourque Jr. and his wife Margaret “ Peggy” of Leominster, James P. Bourque of Lunenburg, 2 daughters Shirley “Sussie” Bourque-Fruguglietti and husband Stephen, of Fitchburg, Linda M. Bourque of Greenfield, Massachusetts. 1 brother Donald Bourque and wife Shirley of Leominster, 2 sisters Leatrice Caisse of Leominster, and Doris Ducheneau and husband Ray of Leominster. Sister-in-laws Arlene Bourque and Priscilla Dufresne. 4 Grandchildren Ashley Fruguglietti, Lily Fruguglietti, Jonathan Bourque and Alice Bourque. He was predeceased by his wife Alice “Auddie” H. (Porter) Bourque in September 23, 1991 and a brother Robert Bourque who died February 6, 1991.

 Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
